I took my 2006 Buick Rainer in for service because it felt like I was driving with 4x4 on, especially when taking a left or right turn from a complete stop. It turns out that the AWD system was not working properly, and it would have cost a lot of money to fix it. The mechanic suggested disconnecting the AWD system and just have the vehicle on 2 wheel drive. This was a good suggestion because I didn't want to spend too much money on the repairs. I appreciate mechanics who are honest and have the client's best interest at heart. I recommend Joe's Automotive Repair in Bellingham, WA.

I discovered Joe's Automotive when I first came to Bellingham a couple of years ago. I needed to find a shop that was reliable, affordable, had great customer service and didn't automatically assume that I knew nothing about cars because I didn't have male parts. They provide professional service and have a wealth of technical expertise. They go above and beyond to provide additional information and make sure the customer is completely satisfied. It doesn't matter if we bring in our late model vehicle or a classic that's over 50 years old, they know how to take care of it. I highly recommend Joe's automotive and will continue to use them for all of our vehicles.

I had a great experience at Joe’s! My wife and I had just driven across country from Michigan to Washington and wanted to get our car looked at just to make sure everything was still running well. When I called to make the appointment, the person at the front desk was knowledgeable and friendly. She gave me an estimate on how long it would take and how much it would be. When we dropped off the car, Izzy at the front desk gave us great recommendations of places to eat while we waited for the car; both in walking distance. At the end of the day we only ended up paying $117 for a full inspection and a synthetic oil change! We were happy campers!
