When I brought my 1989 Toyota Camry to Joe's Automotive Repair, Joe personally drove me back to my place AND picked me up again when the work was done so that I wouldn't have to worry about transportation. He also discovered what THREE other shops had all missed: That my timing belt had NEVER been changed! Suffice it to say, I will DEFINITELY be recommending Joe's Automotive Repair to everyone I know.

I have now taken a Jeep and two trucks to Joe's for just about everything from a total breakdown to a prepurchase inspection. These guys are awesome. Always have time for extra advice and questions. They always do great work and help me make informed decisions. I always figure out the price of parts and labor before I move ahead on having work done and Lance has always been very up front and honest with me. Just remember that cheap work isn't good and good work isn't cheap!

After 2 and a half years, my 1994 Plymouth Sundance runs great! Joe and the service team are most likely among the top 10 mechanics in the USA for trustworthiness and reliable service....I would highly recommend Joe's Automotive to all family and friends. I thought I would have to 'junk' my vehicle given its condition...but Joe and team seem to have the magic touch! They truly save $$$$!!.

Once again Joe's Automotive exceeds expectations. Not only did I get a very prompt ride downtown, but I also got a recommendation where to eat for breakfast. And, they had my car finished way before the promised time and less cost than I expected. I appreciate the quality of service to my car as well as the customer service. When I called with questions about the service prior to taking my car in...Lance did some research to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed. I'd trust any car I have to Joe's Automotive.

Our family is so fortunate to have found Joe's Automotive. We live in Southern California, but our daughter is in her 2nd year at WWU. We brought her car up this year, and had a few concerns arise during the long drive north. Joe took care of all car concerns (the same day as we dropped it off!) AND even drove us to campus when we asked where the closest bus stop was to the shop. Professional work, kind, friendly -- just a wonderful all-around experience. Their motto (on the business card) is "We repair your vehicles like our children are riding in them." I honestly believe that's true, and know that our daughter's car (and her safety) will be in good hands.

These guys are so great!!! I can't say how much I appreciated my experience with them! I came in on a Saturday begging for them to look at my car cause I was panicking it was rumbling so much! They were so nice and looked at it right away. This sounds lame but as a young woman getting car stuff figured out is a bit intimidating ( at least for me!) but they were very kind and made me as comfortable as possible. Everyone I interacted with was really nice and professional and my car is running great! Highly recommend!!!

We had a great experience at Joe's! We were in the process of buying a car and wanted to get a pre-purchase inspection. Unfortunately we picked the day after Thanksgiving to try to get it looked at! We didn't really expect any shops to be open, but after calling a handful of shops, we finally tried Joe's. Joe answered and got us an appointment same day (we learned later that he wasn't even really open, he just happened to be there and was more than happy to help us). He ended up giving us solid advice and straight forward prices on the problems that needed to be fixed. You can tell he is a down-to-earth guy who isn't just trying to make a cheap dollar! He told us which problems were needed and which problems could wait to be fixed. We will definitely go to Joe's again!

We started taking vehicles to Joe's when we first started looking for used vehicles on Craigslist. First Experience with Joe's: We drop of an early 2000's Subaru Outback for pre-purchase inspection. The inspection came back with enough repairs needed that it would have put us well above blue book if we purchased it and had the work done. Knowing nothing about cars, it would have been easy for Lance to persuade me into purchasing it and then had us get the work done at Joe's. Instead he came back with his honest opinion and we didn't purchase the vehicle. He charged us the typical $100 inspection fee. Before leaving, he provided us with some tips on surviving in the used-car market. Second Experience with Joe's: Subaru #2 in the shop for inspection. It's an '09 Forester w/ ~100k. This time we got the inspection done elsewhere as we wanted to buy same-day and Joe's was slammed. We decide to purchase the vehicle so we get a few quotes before dropping the ~$2k on a head gasket and timing belt. Joe's gave me a better quote than a few other places I checked. We took the car in. It ended up being in the shop for a few days longer than originally quoted. A few other things came up during the time it was in the shop. Lance was in contact throughout the process so I could make informed decisions on how much money I wanted to put into other issues. When we came back to pick up the car, Lance provided us with a detailed breakdown of how much was spent on each part as well as on service. The car has been running great since. The Good Price - Their prices were competitive and seemed to be better than other places I checked. Honesty - They give you honest opinions. Opinion that benefit you; not them. Transparency - The transparency on pricing breakdowns and changes it pricing is huge for me. The Bad Time Management - This doesn't really bother me too much. It's hard to make accurate time commitments and I would rather have them not cut corners and take the time they need. Conclusion: I'll continue to take my vehicle to Joe's and would recommend it to a friend. The main selling point for me if the transparency and the fact that they are cognizant of customers preference on pricing breakdowns, calls if things change in the vehicle status, pricing changes, etc. I will update this review if anything changes.

I needed brakes badly. Ryan and the Joe's team got me in and back on the road day of. I brought my truck in at 1pm and picked it up at 5pm with brand new brake pads, calipers and rotors. It was affordable and they team was very helpful. Trust them for a reliable and local fix.
